Industrial Robot Palletization System
Developed an autonomous system with the ABB IRB 1600 robotic arm to palletize 18 small metallic cubes with sub-millimeter precision in the RAPID programming language. Also implemented an additional feature to have the robot pause and throw an error on the user controller when no block is detected on the feeder using PLC programming to detect the signal. This is demonstrated after the robot finished with the first level of the pallet around the 1:45 minute mark in the video demo below.
